WOW.

I am curious about the blue trailing edge as well. Looks like the decal reacted to the placement? I think Marius mentioned the decals -- particularly the blues -- were difficult to place. Is that the case here or is it a highlight? Should these lines be sharp? The appearance suggests a top and bottom accent line following the beautiful swept edges of the wings, a bird in flight, and the French colors all at once; dynamic, flowing and elegant.

Yes they do. It is a result of the horrible decals. The edges were used to be one piece for each wing and to be bended around the edge. This was impossible for me. I cut them into two pieces. Then they reacted on decal-softer by breaking into pieces. Now I Need to improve it by blue paint. Matching that Dark blue won't be easy.

I also worked on the intake covers. They are made of paper and sheet. They are not glued.

Alright; I was wondering if you cut a thin line from the blue sheet you used to create a hard edge on the wing, letting it blend to the already in place decal or is there another solution not involving a mask, considering you are almost complete or am I chasing a rainbow?

The intake covers look great! Excellent improvisation there on your part.

Your scratchbuilding ideas are amazing. I know I am going to try more mixed media the way you do, printing on paper stock for seatbelt harness and now these covers is superb. I like when different materials are used during construction; the textures are more convincing when you choose the areas specifically the way you do. I took a lot of notes during this build. I think you also painted the base color incredibly well. This is one of those areas particularly at 1/72 scale that demands "out of the box" ideas.
