And they build up into a fairly nice-looking detail part, too. They need a little oil paint to tie them in with the rest of what I’ve got going on in the ‘pit but that’s easy. I quite like these. One Hangul I had about my previous Zeke was the seatbelt decal. Looked nice enough but like you said- the thickness and subsequent look of it just wasn’t correct. This is way closer to the mark.

Yeah, thickness is my big beef with decal seatbelt harnesses. I have been trying applying them to various types of paper to find a better look. One day I’ll find the right paper.

Know what I bet would work? The material from the sacks they sell ground coffee in. It’s super thin, and the decal would surely stick to it.

I think that I know what you’re talking about. I know that I’ve saved tea bag mesh for very fine netting purposes.

Fuselage is sealed up, and cockpit module work continues. It’s a pop-in-from-the-bottom type deal.
...I’m getting going on the IP this week.

That's gonna be a big build, I'm not use to seeing 1/32

Thank you, fellas! That was a good step toward getting my mojo back, on this one!
I had hoped to have the cockpit done last week, but I took that time to tighten a few minor things up. I got started with the oils today:
This was more about bringing details out than weathering. I’m hoping I hit the mark. I’m happy with how it’s coming along, all except for the harness. I’m still trying to make it look like it belongs in there.
