Tail is on and the elevators are canted to the right when viewed head on. There will be no straightening here...they are glued, CA'd and puttied. Oh well...

Working on this thing would seem to be like wrestling a giant, angry octopus in a phone booth.

LOL! I like it! Thanks for the memories; I built one some years ago. Mine was done as a bomber so I would have all three V Bombers done. I wouldn't mind getting another of these to make a tanker.

Damn that's big. That would never fit in my spray booth.

I have one of those ubiquitous ones you can get cheap online, so nope, it doesn’t fit. Took it outside today to get a coat of primer on it.

The B/N had quite a view from the nose of the bomber!

Got that masked today. When this thing took a dive off the bench, it broke the probe, and a bit of the tip of the nose. Now I have to figure out how to restore that. I bet that was a fun ride.

Sorry to hear of your mishap, although with the size of the thing it's hardly a surprise - I'm sure you'll get it fixed!

There is putty in that spot. Letting it sit overnight.
