Thanks Bruce.
All of the main decals are on now, just the leading edge patches to do (which I hate). These decals have been a bit of a PITA to be honest, very hard to move once they're down and very reluctant to bed down. I'm on my third coat of Micro-Sol on some of them.
Interestingly they're not Cartograf.
Photo's to follow when it's done - not far off now.

Your build goes sooo quickly!
Decals really transfers the build into a new dimension!

It's always been my favourite part of the build - when it gives the model it's identity

I finally got caught up with this one as well. It's been a treat watching all these Spitfires getting built; especially given they are in my favorite scale! Despite the issues Stuart, the decals look magnificent! Keep it coming man!

Looking great to my eye. Are these topside colors the Humbrol acrylic Dark Earth 29 and Dark Green 30?

No these are the Hataka equivalents and are probably a bit more accurate. Here it is again next to my mk.II which is painted with Humbrol.
Interestingly - the mk.II was the first kit I finished when I got back into modelling in 2010. I'm really hoping you can see a difference in the two builds - I'd hate to think I hadn't improved over 9 years!
