You have some serious naval work going on. So many ships in such a short time - impressive!

Thanks Lyle and Torben.
I usually have at least one ship on the bench. Right now, I have two.

Nice work on the F-35. I'm taking notes on all of it. And the cockpit is grey.

Thanks Mike, cockpit pictures of anything other that the IP are a little difficult to find. I did paint some of the interior grey but because of a bad angle, lighting and the seat in the way it couldn't be seen clearly. Looking at your pic though, I appears I didn't apply quite enough even though, again, the picture doesn't show the grey walls and it's a lot less blue. I'll need to go in with a 10/0 brush and fix some areas.

Thanks for the great shot of the fan color...it is white and not light grey.

You are a machine with all these builds going on Steve!!!

It's my understanding that a lot of trouble can be expected with Kitty Hawk kits but so far you've been blasting through that Raptor build pretty well. Looks great so far.

Yeah, I've encountered the nose problem and after some interior painting of the ducting is complete, I'll get to experience the fan driveshaft issue. After that, I understand it goes quite smoothly and turns out well. The kit doesn't include any weapons other than the AMRAMs which is a disappointment. I guess the RN blokes haven't loaded her up yet. I may leave it in stealth mode and leave the AMRAMs off. I have a 1/48 F-15 that my benefit from some extra weapons.

Smithsonian Channel had a show recently called “Rise of the Supercarrier” about the building and trials of the Queen Elizabeth. They are flying F-35s and helps off her. On on of the episodes, this cover WBA’s referred to as the “toilet seat”.
