Good eye, Carlos. It looks like they're attached to the cockpit wall than the seat itself.

Eduard panel? I would give the Aires panel a go too. A little more effort but I find the acetate/unpainted pe face sandwich-type panels give really good results.

John: I weighed it all out. Sometimes I go the easy route. Definitely not always but every now and then I do.....especially when I don't get as much time at the bench like these days. I guess I get impatient for progress.

At this scale, there is probably not much separating the Aires and Eduard instrument panels, even with the added work needed for the Aires version. So you didn't make a bad choice at all!
