Oooo.... the Vampire! They had one of those at the Canadian Aviation Museum on display. Noisy little jet from what I hear.

Thanks Gents - it's a sweet little kit if you ever get a chance to build one.
@Tom, they are indeed rather loud, I've seen one flying up at Coventry a good few years back, but not more so than most other early jets I would imagine. Nice sight though, the twin boom/pod is quite strange to see these days.

And the Vampire was built partially from plywood, which is sort of quite special for a jet

Indeed, the nose ''pod'' was built in the same manner as the Mosquito.
