Yeah they do. I've been working on getting some metallic paint markers for small jobs especially on Gundams.
:hmm: Thinking they might work well on Citadel miniatures as well.

Something I acquired on this past Saturday at AMPS. No money was paid, it was a giveaway from a guy thinning his stash, so I can honestly say, "Honey, I didnt buy anything at model club" ;)
It's two BA-20 kits that the previous owner was giving away. I've been wanting to add some Soviet armored cars to my collection, and being something of a modeling masochist, these just might be fun. Even had enough AM resin wheels for both kits!

Looking at the sprues, they remind me of the old Italeri/Zvezda BT-5 or Alan/Dragon Su-76 that I've previously built. At least they will fill a gap in my collection, of pretty much all WWII Soviet War Wheels types.

Different periods of the war. The B-4 gun was a mid to late war weapon, while the BA-20s were early war. And yes, free is very good!

I believe it’s Alan… :hmm: And yes, quite unique of a type. Those between the wars armored cars that look like modified civilian trucks.

Those are just the kind of kits I would grab and build. Looking forward to seeing those.

Awesome scores guys!

I've managed to pick up a few things at very little cost due to the generosity of friends and being at the right place at the right time.

First off, I have needed more glue, so I purchased these to refill my tool box:

Then a few weekend ago, I went to a gaming convention (yes, I do wargame occasionally) and was able to purchase this. The box says $2.50, but he took $2.00 for it:

Then, talk about being in the right place at the right time, I came across a table at this convention that said "Everything on the table: $1.00" So I purchased the cloth bag and four other large containers for a buck each. While I was paying, they changed the sign to say "Everything on the table: FREE!" so after confirming that, I scooped up all the rest of the containers on the table:

God is good!

Later I went to build models at the Brookhurst club where I met a friend of mine there. He generously purchased these two kits for me:

The Airfix set was in the sale pile of previously owned kits. I was thrilled to get it as I'd wanted it for decades, since I was a little boy.

That's all I have for now. Back to the bench....
