Well, this turned out to be a good evening. I had lots of last minute difficulties here with this build, but it's finally done. I will get a full set of photos of her up tomorrow. To my eye, it's full of flaws, mainly from trying to get it done fast. But it did take 2nd place tonite at IPMS monthly contest, Master Category. So not too bad...

Very nice.
If i had to make a complaint, i would say the weathering on the national insignia almost highlights it. Not sure why that is, but it kinda makes it pop a little too much.
But that would only be if i absolutely had to make a complaint.
Great work, i cant wait to see the full set of photos.

Mikey, I would very much agree with you had I not seen photos of the real bird and how they look.

Bruce, this one became an obsession to get as I did it. Lord knows how many hours of research and work that I poured into it. No planing ahead of time. A flash of an idea lead to one thing, then another and another. All planning occurred on the fly so to speak.
