The round wheelie doohickey is most likely the trim tab adjustment wheel.

Looks to have a black rim. Perhaps a rubber covering?

Good German photography. A Leica camera perhaps? Definite professional industrial documentation stuff.

I figured it was something like that. And I can simulate a black rubber ring on there, no problem.

Also- I was looking at it last night, and dry-fitting the pieces together, and thinking about it. I could theoretically add wiring to the cockpit interior. It wouldn’t be difficult at all because it’s gargantuan. And at this scale, I think it needs it since I’ll be displaying the canopy open.

I’m going to continue with painting and whatnot. Then seal it up with my Mr. Hobby Flat Clear to protect it all. Then add the wiring very carefully *provided* I can affix the wires with PVA glue.

The painted cockpit components look very good Kenny! Wiring would be a good addition. I've found it easiest to add wiring prior to any painting due to the difficulty in trying to hide the glue attachment points.

This project will be resuming shortly!

And no need for wiring, as I’ll be hanging this bad boy up from the ceiling.
