Real Color paints are quite "rich" on pigments, so I recommend to try some thin ratios first. Though I've used a different thinner (Mr. Levelling Thinner), I've painted with 20% paint for surfaces and 10-15% for detail work.
Thank you for the tips, hope I can test the still tonight!

Kari, I think that you’ll really enjoy the Real Color paints. They are great to use. I’ll have to try the higher thinner ratio on my next use of them.

Thanks Carlos, yes, I think so too!

Before even priming can begin (still must decide black or white prime

) time for all the remaining PE parts...
Without my RP Toolz PE tool... I would not have been able to bend those pretty long PE parts...
Peaceful audience oversee the work that is carried out by their adjuncts...
The time goes too quickly tonight, no priming tonight anymore...

Hi! Good evening!
https://panzerphotos.com/iwm-jagdpanther
I don’t know if you have the link so... I’m including it as info only. I’m excited to see what happens with these new paints! I’m afraid I’m a bit odd when it comes to determining white/grey or black primer. I feel the texture of grey is easiest to refine. White is most revealing but necessary for unit markings (FAF yellow in the Do 17’s case). Black is amazing once polished. However I read a Build by that Flory Wash Fella of an Me 262 wherein he makes a case for white primer base being a superb primer for camouflage—and his results were stunning. I can’t lay my electronic hands on the article. It is on his website (or used to be). Cheers and hello!

Those PE parts look nice on there and I’m picking up one of those tools for myself as wel. Bending PW is not something that I’m particularly good at, and definitely need help so thank you for sharing that. Anyway, this is coming along nicely, and if your pet cat approves, I must approve as well. And Incant wait to see this one once you start painting it.

Almost 3 months has gone and only now, thanks to Johns King Tiger project I could shout (silently though, my wife and all the cats still sleeping at this very moment) EUREKA !!!!
That is the main reason for the practically total stop, the tracks!
The kits own plastic tracks are just simply "too much work and too fiddly" to my current levels of patience.
So, time to go to see what is out there in the big world of web-shops, but I thought I would be cutting some corners first and ask here;
- Which all makers do AM metal tracks?
- Any bigger differencies between these ?
- Do this kind of AM tracks in general fit any makers Jagdpanther ?
- Does the Jagdpanter and Panther have precisely the same hull ?
I do miss my Jagdpanther!
