I started my engineering career when the industry was transitioning from hand drafting to CAD. I did a little drafting using technical pens on vellum but was soon tasked to learn a new software package called AutoCAD. I remember having to learn the program on a Packard Bell 286 without a mouse!

I'm in the process of transferring my past builds from Photobucket to Postimages.cc. I may be able to resurrect this thread when I complete this transfer. In the meantime, here is an older build of mine. This is the Hobby Boss 1/48 Fw 190D-9 kit that I built in 2014 as Blue 12 (WNr 500570).

Yes, I'm doing the same with my PB photos over to Postimage. It's quite a long process with some 12 years of photos on there...
I had a feeling that you had a drafting background from your approach to modeling.

Thanks Mikey and Carlos! We're all enthusiasts here and everyone's work is appreciated. I apologize for the dead links in this thread. I am in the process of repairing the photo links but Photobucket is being its usual slow and ad-filled self... hard to download my albums right now. Check back in a few weeks and hopefully I'll have this thread fully populated with pictures again.

Restoring this thread is finished! All I have to do is fix the Ta 152H-1 build in the Completed board and my work here at SPA Modeler has been rendered complete. I wish I could say that about my posts on other boards but oh well... it's something.
