Well, there isn’t an opening on the other side. No, I’m sure it is the right door. Fits okay on another fuselage half.

The more I look at the first picture, and sit eating BBQ chips and grocery store sushi, I could be convinced that I did the damage while sanding the wing join. I don’t know how, though.
Wait.... :what: BBQ chips and sushi? Nope....
I do live on the edge. Risk taker, heart breaker, model wrecker, err..maker.

Don’t forget...grocery store sushi!

Now I keep thinking about BBQ chips and sushi. What a combo! I do sincerely wish you the very best of luck with this kit, Lyle. Cheers.
Bruce, no worries! I had all that done last week. The best part was the Propofol!

My culinary tastes run like my kit choices, I guess. Years ago, I worked as a third shift manager at a “Big Boy” type of restaurant. Manager meant I could have a dishwasher OR a cook. I like to cook...hate to was dishes. After cooking breakfast all night, I would eat anything but!

I can relate to regular Mountain Dew and Dr Pepper. That was the part of my checkup where the Doc started shaking his head knowingly and ruefully at me. It took me a month to break the BBQ chips and Dr Pepper fix for me. It took serious mental planning and persistence. I am amazed by your model building patience and persistence, Lyle. Truly. I don’t know if I have as much patience. Keep going!!

I need to cut back on the diet soda. I want the carbonation, though need to go get some club soda. The chips don’t happen very often, happy to say!

Thanks for the kind comments. She is a booger, that is for sire...I did get some paint on the cowls, nacelles and bottom of the fuselage today.

I have the same problem - I can eat a tube of pringles in one sitting - not good. I'm trying to cut down as you did - it's a long hard struggle with the old will power.

Well, who would have thought this day would arrive? Not me.....

Paint applied. Used Tamiya Acrylic XF-16 Flat Aluminum. Thinned it a bit. I primed it with something I have not used before, Duplicolor Perfect Match Premium Automotive Paint - Gray Scratch Filler Primer. It was a bit pricey - about 12-13 dollars a can, but the Tamiya stuff is 7. Man, is it smooth and nice.

Is this the same plane that was fighting you? That looks so fine now with all the scars hidden. :shoutout:
