Great. Thanks, Mark! I’ll call you later!!

Update: I just spoke with Mark and plan to see him on Monday to take photos as well as get some modeling tips from one of the pros. I probably will bring this kit, too, to work on the wings and landing gear.

In other news: Marius (Bolleken) has made a crisp new digital file of Sopwith Camel decals for this aircraft!

I am really grateful and really happy. Thanks, Marius.

Thank you, Marius!

Your work in the one true scale is my source of inspiration. Thank you for being so creative!

In other news, I received an evacuation warning update affecting areas close to where I live and this morning UCLA issued evacuation protocols for all students who live on campus. I generally follow what UCLA does.

“UCLA students are on high alert. UCLA Housing sent an email urging campus residents to stay vigilant and ready to evacuate due to the nearby Palisades fire. While this is not an evacuation order, Bruins were advised to prepare a bag of essentials and follow guidance if the order is extended to campus. If you have a disability that requires assistance, including mobility or service animal assistance, please call your building front desk. Updates will be shared via BruinALERT.”

I’m going to fill up the gas in my car next.

Better yet, get out of California while you're at it too. Head out to Arizona instead.

BTW, those decals the Marius restored look sweet! It’s simply amazing what current technology is allowing for improvements in this hobby.

Your work is so special! Often, I can’t tell what is you and what is reference…

Stay safe. Make sure your model stuff is in your “bug out” bag!
