LOL! I would say that there's no chance in hell that I'm doing Berlin Camo, but actually I do have my eye on a MENG mk.10 with that option that I'd love to do.

You and me both…

I’ve been wanting to build a Chieftain in the Berlin Brgade camouflage scheme, ever since I first became aware of them. Now see in the Ferret and FV.432 in the scheme as well, with the Takom and Airfix kits of those subjects now available along with that Meng Chieftain…

I believe that the Scimitar also was painted in that scheme as well. It’s just soooooo unique!

I know what you mean, it is a cool scheme isn't it - it's be great to see you have a go at one Carlos. The FV.432 is on my list too. I do have an AFV club Scimitar but I'll be converting mine into one used during the Falklands War.

It doesn't seem.all that hard to do. Paint the base coat white. Square mask for each color. Start with the brown; mask the white, mask the brown, do next color, etc...
Yeah, yeah, yeah... easy said than done

This this has been picked up (again) in an effort to get it completed.
I've started painting it up - airbrushing on a few coats of Tamiya Acrylic.
and I've replaced the bazooka plate moulded on handles with wire. It's a bit wonky here and there, but a good learning exercise - I know what I did wrong and the next attempt will be better.
Cheers!

Nicely done with the wire replacement handles! You’re kicking up your detail work a few notches here.

Thanks Carlos - they're bit bit untidy but I've got how to do it in my head now - it should be better next time. I'm trying to become a better armour modeller, and certainly with this build I want to improve a few bits. I have a set of replacement tracks for it as well (from a Takom kit) and do some camo netting too.
I'm on a very small forum (about 4 of us posting
