So.... been bitten by the 1/48th WWII British fighter bug...

The Airfix mk.I Spitfire is for a comparison build with the Tamiya kit I'm currently building. The Hurricane and Defiant I thought would be good companions to the BofB Spitfire. The Mk.IX... well it's a Mk.IX. I thought it would be interesting to build Airfix's latest Spitfire kit. I have some decals on the way for this as I don't like the ones in the kit.

Great haul Stuart! I did the MK 1 defiant a few years back - great kit. I have that Hurricane in the stash as well.

That's good to know John. I remember the 1/72 version being good so I'm glad the bigger version is good also.
