Awesome work Kenny! Your airbrushing is excellent and you've done a wonderful job at representing the Luftwaffe mottle camo pattern. The model surface has a nicely worn but not overly weathered look to it. I can't tell from the photos but you may want to check the splay of the landing gear legs. They look a little too upright to me but again, it could be the angle of the camera.

As to the landing gear legs. Yes my man, and those were a major pain point for me, and the one complaint I have pertaining to this particular kit. It is difficult to get their position correct, almost inordinately so. The way the kit is engineered in terms of how they mount does not make it easy to mount them at the correct angle and what’s more, there really isn’t all that much “there” in terms of material at the contact points to allow for a good, correct, solid mount for a less-experienced modeler like myself.

Here is a better photo. This is the end result of my absolute best effort to install them and get them correct, and it took a lot of dry-fitting and swearing LOL, and I’m still not 100% happy with them. It’s the only thing about the build I’m not 100% happy with:

I believe you did. Yeah. It’s not an easy job, that. Still. I got *close*. It’s something I’ll have to be even more mindful of come build-time with the next one...

That's a fine line to walk with the gear. I either get mine too close together or too dang far apart. lol. Your bird is lookin' good Kenny.

I hear you Kenny! Not having a positive connection really makes putting the landing gear in place difficult. On my G-10 build, I was reminded that the 109's wheels were splayed at about the same angle as the legs. Previously, I assumed that the wheels were perpendicular to the ground but looking at reference photos told me otherwise so tried to reflect that as best as I could. Never too late to learn!
