Had an acquaintance (barely) in the 70s that flew the Pitts competively. Name was Gene Soucy. Had some success for a bit.

Nice haul Stuart. Always liked the canopy articulation of the f-84f... but ya, f-86 is a beloved plane so

Been waiting for one of these for a while. Rather it be a D but I'll take it. And it was cheap ( which usually means re-release coming... )

That's cool. The Pitts is a great little aircraft - it's tiny in 1/72!

It gets worse, I'd argue the Mig-15 was a better looking aircraft Lol! It's not like I don't love the Sabre though.
