I love that background and base - it makes for a really nice photo.

Background shows the Mont St. Michel in northern France. R.A. 150 km away from Omaha Beach.

In a German board I am working on a F-51. I am not allowed to show it here, because it is part of a competition.
Nevertheless I have 2 more Mustangs on my workbench, since years to be honest. Currently I am preparing them as test for coloring in natural metal finish.
One is the totaly wrong in shape variant by Academy.

Looking great. I love the photo background and base too. I've been wanting to set something like that up myself; I just never got around to it.

Academy Mustang is a great choice for a paint mule. Looking good.

The first Mustang got its first layer of primer and Vallejo Metallics.

Nice and shiny now! Do you've to thin that Vallejo metallic, or can it be airbrushed just fine "as is"?
