And the forward progress has resumed!!!!
Nothing too substantial, but I did get some Tamiya Gray Liquid Surface Primer airbrushed on over the PE brass that I added last.

Forward progress is always good progress! And I need to get me some of that primer for the PE stuff I use. I’m glad you got some time to fire-up your compressor and shoot that primer at those parts. Awesome.

Agreed Kenny. Life has been too hectic lately. Last/this week, due to schedule rotation at work I was slated for an 8 day stretch. But I’m getting too senior/old for such shenanigans, I took Wednesday off and used it for my major self abuse long distance bike ride. So after my morning errands, I had a nice afternoon bench session. And yes, I heartily recommend the Tamiya Gray LSP. It’s great stuff.

The peace that abides after a long bike ride... I dig it. It’s what keeps me on The War Machine. I love that bicycle.
The Zen Master Thich Nhat Hahn once said of walking “every step touches the ground of reality.”
Fine, Thay. But what about us? The guys who like to cycle?
As it turns out. Zen has room for us too:
I say “With every turn of the crank, we roll right over the ground of Reality.”
And I like that. Very much.
As to schedules, I know how hectic it can be. I’m not saving lives at work like you are. But my job comes with weird hours and it’s own stress. We build when we can. And you’re making good progress with this one. But even more than that, good on you for not neglecting maintaining your cardio, too. Good man!

Well, five years ago, I was in far worse shape than I have been before and am in now. But within a few month time span, three co workers around my age all died from health issues. Not to mention that I was getting tired of having to buy bigger clothes and uniforms every few years. It was something of a wake up call. So I got my butt back in shape. And yes, there is a zen peace that comes during a ride... as well as those endorphins... and some of the time as I’m out there pedaling along, I trouble shoot a model project that I am working on.
