I built one of the ESCI boxings ages ago. Beautiful kit. This one comes with the M134 and ammo box so she will be armed. Last time I built the minigun from an old white metal barrel and some scratch building. I'll have to dig up the pic.

Just picked up the Quinta cockpit sets for the Tamiya and Hasegawa Ki-61's. I'm hooked on these 3-D printed details

Stuart! That's a lot of stuff, including at least three aircraft that I've been wanting for awhile! Can't wait to see you start them!
It may be January, but I was able to finally spend some of my Christmas money!
First off, I purchased online these armor kits:
At my local IPMS meeting, a couple guys were selling models, so I scored these:
I also got an old Testor's set of US and NATO aircraft armament, but it would not upload to the Gallery.
My last Christmas present was given to me by a friend who frequents Hobby Day. It is a unique wooden kit that actually works:
Of course, the "ammunition" is rubber bands, but this is so cool!
Thank you for looking in, comments are welcome!

Mark it looks like you for some great scores there! How many M109s does this make for you now? I remember when you were complaining that there were none available in 1/72.

Neat stuff. The RB-66 is cool. Love the Tommy gun, but be careful...you are in CA!

Thank you Steve! Yeah, I had to snap that B-66 up! I'd never built one of those or the Navy Skywarrior version before.
Thank you John! Yes, it will be fun chasing squirrels with that Tommy gun!

Thank you Carlos! In total, I have completed four M109's three American variants and one German variant. This will be the fifth one. I also am thinking of getting a second -A7 to see if I can make it Israeli. That or another -A6; I don't know. Yeah, I have complained about these forever; it's about time someone came out with them! I am still waiting for anyone to release a 1/72 scale M47 Patton, and a Marine M60-something Ontos, an M42 Duster, a French G-6 artillery piece, US five-ton cargo truck with subsequent releases of Vietnam-era gun trucks; an M107 and M110 self propelled gun from Vietnam and a Marine M198 artillery piece, among other things......
Thank you Lyle! The B-66 is cool! And yeah, I'll have to be careful, but I doubt a wooden colored gun would be mistaken for the real thing. Then again as you say, I am in CA!

Yup..... California, the Nanny state. Sorry, I just couldn't resist.
