I'm right there with you Mostrich! I have a few models to sand and fill right now too....

This is where I always hit that wall. I really hate filling and sanding and I have no motivation to finish it.

I was like that for the longest time where I hated sanding and filling. I'm not going to say that it's my favorite part of modeling but there's something to be said for making a seam, joint or gap totally disappear.

I used to be the same, I hated it. But now I get a lot of satisfaction out a well done seam.

It can actually be quite relaxing in its own way.

Yeah I get what you're saying. But sometimes I struggle with getting them to go away. Especially when they're in "hard to get at without damaging other things" areas.

I know what you mean - that can be a PITA.

Needle files are good for that, but the trouble is you then need to polish out the scratches - which goes back to PITA!

In that case, I just pick my battles. I do the best I can with what I have, but if it doesn't completely go away, I do what I can and move on. That might cost me in contests, but hey, I never really worry about winning; I just have fun displaying my models!

Got the canopy masks on.

And now for the fun part: painting!
