Wow, I never had met anybody who open.y admitted that they liked the looks of the X-32. It just goes to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

Anyways, on New Year’s Eve here, before all the celebrating went into full swing, I had one last workbench session for 2020 and airbrushed on a coat of Future.



All ready for decals now...

Yep, I liked it - Okay so the intake was pretty bad but the rest of the jet had a charm to it. I can help thinking a service jet would have looked better - it was better than the flying Dorito at any rate.

Thanks Stuart. As long as you can’t see the intake, the 32 didn’t look too bad... but any angle that showed the intake... yikes!

Today, I added the decals. It wasn’t until I was applying the decals that I realized how minimal the markings were on this thing. Aside from typical stenciling, and some minimalist program markings, this aircraft is pretty plain Jane. Not even national insignia on this one!





More in a two or three days...

Most X-planes have all sorts of National and service markings. At least from the X-1 thru X-15. The later ones tend to be more colorful and “corporate” in markings. This one really is neither.
