1/48 F/A-18E Super Hornet

I would also go with the resin seat
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

I’d absolutely use the resin seat. Ans by all means save the kit seat. And as it happens, that particular kit seat is pretty nice looking in and of its self. You won’t regret keeping it just in case.

Well, resin seats it is! And I always save every unused parts. Like you guys said, you'll never know when you'd need them for something else.

I’m looking forward to seeing the resin seats painted. Lots of nice detail in there and I think they’ll add a lot to the project in the old “eye candy” department. Solid call.

Can't tell from the photos but I'm assuming that the resin seats have more detail? Ya got em... might as well use em!

Back to work on the wings of SH #2. Making good progress on filling all the gaps.

Progress looks good on this one. I do like the look of those aftermarket seats. LOTS of details.

Thanks! Yeah they do look good. They'll look even better painted and weathered.

Re: 1/48 F/A-18E Super Hornet
With all the work being done on the wings and other areas, some panel lines were being lost. They're pretty shallow to begin with so I rescribed them just a touch. The underside of both wings have been done so far.
