Thanks Lyle!

Right now I'm still tweeking the 383 stroker motor to attain somewhere in the range of 450-480 hp. The 650 is a little small for that but I've got my eyes on a 750 cfm double pumper to help it get to that range. I started smaller for a little more street driveability though. The 454 is gonna start getting some love hopefully by the end of the year. Just gotta get the 383 to at least the 450 hp range and then I'll be able to sell that and use the money for the 454.

Hopefully I can get started painting this 262 soon. Gonna be a tough scheme for me.

Joe, that is some stunning work on both projects. I like your second hobby; some like to fish, some like to wrench and go fast, and I like to "destroy" other people's armies on a wargaming table. :bag:

Looks great.
Should be fun to see/hear the Silverado when the fun parts go in. Here in CA longtubes are an instant smog fail during the visual inspection - hence my Charger hasn't been registered in 4 years :giggles:
Is the block stock or did you do any to handle the extra HP?

Careful now... anything expired over six months on a public roadway can be towed and stored. And most agencies won’t allow you to get the vehicle out of storage without paying for current registration... four years adds up... plus towing and storage fees...
