You are too kind, amigo. But I’ll take it. Here’s the prop; what you are seeing behind it is the plastic tape I used to mask the black. In short: I love AS-12. (before polishing and UV Gloss Clear)

I don’t want to drop this project just yet, so I’m going to give things a few days for the motorcycle rider figure from Tamiya to get to me. Let’s hope despite the pandemic Tamiya fires this out to me right quick. Regardless:
I sprayed the GBZ interior Tamiya USAF Neutral Gray, then I trapped the cockpit so far within the two halves and taped the halves together. You can see just how wide the rear bulkhead gap is where I have drawn a yellow line.

I’m not sure either. I’m going to try heating both halves with hot water then pressing them together over the bulkhead to form the plastic around the piece, rather than fill around the piece itself. I have also not ruled out adding a big blob of Milliput putty behind the bulkhead once the halves are glued together. This will resolve two issues by filling the area around the bulkhead and adding tail weight.
