Mike—let’s say Top 5 for you. Make sure you let me know manufacturer, scale and details of the type. When I started I figured just one photo but more are required for maximum impact. If you have any kits from major manufacturers like Tamiya, Airfix or Revell, those brands help us to share the photos amongst groups, however we are spreading the word amongst specific military groups as well as model builders.

Well, simply Thomas. I don´t have a nickname, nor do I like any malapropisms.

1. First model kit?

Aurora´s Messerschmitt 109. This one started all the mess… Raspberry red plastic parts, raised rivets and outlines of the few decal positions on the surfaces! I managed to acquire another kit in pristine condition, stored in one of our cabinets!

2. Preferred scale?

None. Started in 1/72, got some 1/48 scale kits, then 1/32, 1/16. Really, no preferred scale. I just try to get and build what appeals me.

3. Preferred subject or subjects?

Same: none. Whatever floats my boat at a time.

4. Favorite model built to date?

My 1/32 Revell Junkers Ju 88A-1, and Zoukei-mura´s Horten Ho 229.

5. Hardest model built to date?

Accurate Armour´s resin T28 tank. Learned a couple of new swear words…

6. Holy Grail kit?

I don’t know the meaning of this. Maybe, because I have my very first kit in a kind of a shrine? Maybe Wingnut Wings upcoming Lancaster? Who knows?

7. Favorite kit maker?

Zoukei-mura and Tamiya. Lots of fun.

8. Favorite glue or glues?

Tamiya Extra Thin, and its two cousins. Always on my desk.

9. Favorite paint?

Hm, Gunze, and Tamiya, but more of Mission Models and Mr.Paint. Love the last one!

10. What started you as a modeler?

A Lindbergh B-17 in the attic of my parents’ home. Build by my father, “discovered” by me. Wasn´t supposed to play with this one, but ya know: a boy and a plane kit!

I love that Junker! One day I will have a model jaw dropping like that!

Double Amen t that, Carlos. Every time I see pictures of that Ju-88 I am in awe of the work. I don't know how he did it.
