Now onto some spinal surgery on both Super Hornets. The spine closest to the cockpit was a separate part so that a two seater could be done. Neither fit very well but at least they're on panel lines. Just some sanding to get them flush with the rest of the fuselage.

At least you recognize the utility of the feature, even if not perfect, and work with it rather than pronouncing the kit fatally flawed and unbuildable.

Thanks guys! All in all, it's not a bad kit. Nothing basic modelling skills can't fix. I watched a YouTube video of a modeller that does incredible builds and he had the EXACT same issues I did.

Now if someone comes out with Blue Angel decals for their new Super Hornets, I'll be buying more of these!!

Since the Blues have now transitioned to Super Hornets, I’m sure that somebody will come out with a set in the not too distant future.

EDIT- already in the works from CAM Decals

Work is done on both SH up to the rear of the cockpit. Work begins to everything forward and this is where is gets difficult. On both, there's a step on the right side at the front windscreen (where the Xacto is pointing) that I have to figure out how to fix.
