Sorry, I missed that earlier!
Yup, Revell's 1/48 kit....229 Fermis bucks to you.
All together....
I present...the MIG-229 Fulcrum II...
(disclaimer: Fermis bucks are virtually worthless, monetarily speaking, but you are free to hand them out and/or trade with your friends)
I want one!!!
Perfect bleeding of pieces, it reminds me captain Harloock and space battleship yamato space fighters

Flabbergasted! No tea cans! That is an outrage. What is amazing to me is how you have made it all "fit" as if it was already part of a kit. Wow.

Thanks guys!
I've always wanted to do something like this, but never really could come up with a solid plan. With most of my projects around the house, I try to plan and plan and end up nowhere...this was the same way...I just started and it all kinda happens as I go.
Got some painting done...
Stores...
Went with a light blue (RLM65) for the belly...
Picking a scheme was HARD! I had a ton of ideas and wished I had a dozen of these, so I could do em all, but finally decided on Camo grey/neutral grey/very dark grey mix for upper camo...
Various shade of MM Metalizers on the cans (which are a combo of F-4 and F-104 cans)

What he said.
Might have been a tough choice for the scheme, but it was a good choice. Looks neat.
