So after test fitting the intakes to the fuselage, there was a gap and a hole underneath. So I glued a couple of styrene where the gap is. I'll cut and shape it after the glue dries good.

Lovely seeing an F.3 being built - It was always my favorite version of the Tornado.
It's a lovely build so far - the cockpit looks fantastic! It seems to be building up nicely too.
Great Work Medic!

Thanks Portman. I only wish it was building up nicely. I'm gonna have a lot of sanding and filling to do.

Got one intake and wing root on the other day. [doh] I see a lot of sanding and filling soon.

Um - I'm only going to say this on the off chance you don't know, and because like an idiot I almost fell into the same trap, but you know the top of the intakes boxing is not supposed to fit level with fuselage behind it right? As there's a vent at the rear?
I'm sure you knew that - but you mentioned you needed to do a lot of sanding and filling?

Thanks for the pics!

I'm gonna get the decals for that last one for my Revell Tornado!

Yeah I did. When I was dry fitting I saw that there was a gap there and went and checked reference pics. Thanks for the heads up though.

I like the paint scheme on that last Tornado too! I think those aircraft with the colorful tails look awesome!
