Well I gave a second coat of RLM 69 Light Tan today. This evened everythign out and it looks much better now
and a coat of Polly Scale Forest Green 34079 on areas I figured that would have been missed when they were repainted into UN White
I will let it dry and cure overnight, then I can start on interior color detail painting tomorrow

nice work, Stik. My brain would never have thought of the two tone and this reason for it. Guess living it helps, huh?

Thanks Lyle. Well I was gonna paint all the hatch interiors green, until I came across a photo the other day showing those to be white in their inner faces. But I am using "artistic license"

regarding the running gear, lower hull, and ramp. An educated guess tell me that those areas would be bypassed in the painting process

Here are a few close ups of the paint work that I did yesterday, but did not have time to post here.
roof
troop compartment sides
drivers compartment
stowage items
I painted all those items and did more detail work on the inside today. More photos in the next few days.
