The color of the rust itself looks like it should. The washings are supposed to givea little more contrast, the hairspray and additional paint is for the original paint that came of the tank.

Looking good so far. Now how about some holes and bent metal there! You know - something where a shell may have put it out of commission during the war.

The tiny grey spots give some life to this one. I like this clever idea!
Lucas, are yo going to display a burnt-out or a rusty vehicle? Or both??
How on earth do you keep your work space this clean with all the pigments involved?
