Man you are really making this thing look fantastic! The weathering is magnificent and I live the realism on the base. Way to go man!

Thanks Duke. I've tried a few techniques I haven't done before on this. I can think of a few things I could have done better already, but I guess who doesn't when building a kit. Should be able to wrap this one up this weekend.

Getting close do done. I used some white paint to add just a few paint chips here and there and gave everything a flat coat. I also took some liberties painting the weapons. All the photos I looked at showed pretty much everything in grey, but I painted the main guns gun metal and dry brushed them with some silver. And added some red for the tip of what looks like a missile for just a bit of color.

Looking good, Muzzy! Now add Chewie in the turrent when he hijacked it on Return of the Jedi. LOL!

Hey thanks BlackSheep. They actually have a Chewie figure in the box posed for just that. Along with an alternate hatch part if you want to pose it open.

I did this one with the hatches closed parts, but might have to use Chewie to practice painting figures. Cause well, its Chewie!
