Nice save and build.
Actually, the scheme itself wasnt too bad to replicate; I took a sheet of Frisket Film and made photocopies of the paint diagram and traced the outline of the flames the best I could. I then took an Xacto blade for graphics design work and cut out the mask. I applied the mask and made additional "flames" where I needed (especially around the corners) then went from there. It didnt look too bad, but the paint reacted funny with the primer or something on the surface of the plastic, even though I had washed it with dish soap and warm water.BlackSheep214 wrote:Nice save and a terrific build! The scheme you wanted to go for had to be made of nightmares to replicate.
