Nah, it's dark primer, base shading the panels, then a thin top coat! Kinda like black basing I guess? I'm still getting the hang of airbrushing and have to focus on not covering up all my shading work...

I hear you on not covering up your shading. Since I switched to a nice dual action airbrush that has been going much better for me. What kind of a setup are you using?

Im using a simple Paashe H and a little airbrushing compressor. Nothing fancy.





I did find a no-name, dual-action AB on clearance at a local hardware store, So I picked that up and started playing with it. Best I can tell, It seems like a knockoff Badger 150...I took it apart and now I cant seem to get it back together correctly! One of the club guys said they will help me out at the next meeting, so I just have to remember to bring it.

Maybe YouTube? I have a 150 and I still have occasional trouble. F6F looking good, too!
