That's awesome Duke - what kit's did you get?

Progress continues at a less than Lightning pace - I've finished the painting and have just applied 2 coats of gloss ready for decals.

Actually, I don't remember. I think one or both might be Airfix, but I think one was different. I'll let you know once they arrive.

I know what you mean about "less than Lightning pace"; I have several models that still need clearcoat and I've been having a time trying to find time to do them!

Hey Look - an update! Decals are on the F.3..! :dancing:

I'm in the process of building up the U/C, bit it's taking a whle as the flash is awful! And I'm also half way through doing the final satin coat - hopefully this one will be wrapped up before long.

Cheers (and apologies for the slow updates).

Almost there! The decals are almost always an indicator that the finish line is near!

Beautiful job Portman! That is looking sensational. And don't apologize for infrequent updates. We've all been there.

Always my favourite part of the build - the model always seems to come alive with the decals on.

Thanks Duke - grrrrr to slow progress though, it's been sat half in, half out of satin coat for a week!

Decals are one of my favorite parts of the build too. I agree, the model does seem to come alive when they go on. I wholeheartedly concur on your comment about the slow progress.
