hah yea it is too clean! I had some Mad Max V8 shots I was going to send you, interior shots featuring the dash, but you already are getting that lookin' properly tough.

I got the kit some months ago while I was on an expo. The kit was from a stash of a (to me unfortunately unknown) modeler who died some weeks before it and the spokes were already done so far by him, so its not from me. They were packed in a little plastic tube, tagged with the date. 1982, that is - by chance my year of birth.

How about some gloss black base coat, to be followed by a high-shine chrome?

Naaah. Too close to the stock version. 
Chassis is in progress - decided to paint it in metal tones. This was done with a sponge and Humbrol MetalCote colors, final touch up with little bit of Vallejo metals and here and there some decent washings (GW color). Needs some more touch ups here and there, this will follow when the whole body is installed.
