If I remember right, I think Steel Beach was going to do an intake cover. I'll ask him and see.

Closed the fuselage last night...overall the fit is solid, BUT I had to remove several locating pins because the opposite location holes were too small/shallow. No biggie.

Also got to spend some time sanding and filing to reshape the plastic to properly accept the hinge inserts. Straight out of the box, the hinges hit up against plastic in three different areas that keep them from seating properly.

Got some sanding/etc done last night, and decided to play with the wings extended. I'm still a ways from having to make up my mind...up or down...

Just a fun aside - I continue to be fascinated with the sheer size of the X-47...so last night I placed my Eduard/Academy F-4B WIP alongside.

That is a "biggun"! Makes you wonder what all they pack into it that we don't know about.

Wow! That's a big difference in size.

Bigger than I had expected. Wonder how large it is in comparison to a B-2?

It's bigger (wing span) than a Super Hornet.
