Thanks guys. This has been a lovely build so far. And after all the decal drama with the P-51H and MU-2 I am happy to report that everything went without a hitch in this build. 5 minutes work. Even the red band decal behaved well and had a nice coverage.

Nothing beats a trouble free build. That looks great Borg.

After a wash and a flat coat it look like this:



No point in weathering an "single use" aircraft like this.
Still to be done, paint the rocket boosters. And maybe a small base.

I've also seen this mounted to a launching tower before. Might be something to consider. Either way, this really looks smashing.

Great build! I love the mottles. Can you give us a better view into the front? I like the "hive" look of the those rockets in the nose.

That looks really great Borg, your wooden stand for it looks the part too. I like how you did the camo and how it came out, very nice!

I have black based the solid rocket boosters and hope to spray them tomorrow (in RLM 02). I have also prepared some figures but am looking for some more info on Luftwaffe uniforms, if some one nows a nice internet reference please let me know.
