That is looking great. The black does indeed improve the appearance of this model. I need to look into getting some of that.

The first colour is on. Green, I am working from dark to light. The "marbeling" effect that I wanted did not go that well. The colour is not transparent enough and I did not get my airbrush to spray fine emil ones. I am not really happy with this result but I am pushing on. Or else this build will stall.

I meant to respond a lot earlier to you, Borg! I saw your post earlier today and as per usual, I look at your photographs first and was just amazed how beautiful the Bat looks; color has completely transformed its appearance; first with the black base and now with the dark green. Then, I read your description. All I can add is that the sensation of my first impression was—like Duke's impression and John's impression—overwhelmingly positive. So, I send you good vibes from Los Angeles on a warm autumnal evening in the hope that you will feel better about what is happening here with these colors. I see the effects of "marbling," though perhaps for your intentions, these are too subtle? All the best. Look forward to your next post here!

Thanks for your enthusiasm. I am in a bit of a "slow period" at the time. I feel this is not my best work but it is good enough for now.

I know that feeling. I'm not doing my best work either lately; but then I'm just tired of having all these models on the workbench going nowhere fast! Still your "not-quite-best-work" is still better than my current work. Keep it coming Borg!
