Thanks Carlos and Stuart. I went over to the Rockport area yesterday to donate supplies and it was pretty bad over there. I took a few pictures yesterday and I'll post some in a while here.

Rear suspension completed. I had to shorten the shocks a lot to match up with the differential reposition up into the chassis as well as relocate the links on the inside of the frame instead of the outside.

This kit is the perfect platform for a Pro Street kind of look. Just look at all the beef from the rear of the truck.

and the going away view: I'm VERY happy with the outcome so far.

I am really glad to hear the news that your family is okay, Joe. Sincerely. And yes, the way your test fitting looks right now is gorgeous! This is going to be a beauty... and a beast.

There, but for the grace of God, go I...

Events can really help us put life and what is really important in perspective. I'm glad to hear that you came thru well and a nod of salute to you for helping however you can for those who were not so fortunate.

Glad to see you're safe. Word out from my bro-in-law now in Houston on work related trip for State Farm Insurance that some folks won't get anything insurance money because they don't have flood insurance.

Yes, if your insurance does not cover the sort of issue that happened, they will get no help from that angle. Insurance is a business that does not pay for what they are not obligated contractually to cover. It's all about the money and fine print.
Hopefully those folks can get FEMA loans to get them back on their feet.

They better. It's hard to see so many people see their life possessions lost and not being covered by their insurance companies.

We have similar issues out here with earthquakes and insurance. The major quakes out here tend to show the worst side of insurance companies and coverage. It ain't pretty.

I can only imagine Carlos.

Folks I have to say that this is one of the best engines I've ever put together in terms of overall look and fit. Revell really did a fine job on this one aside from that hole in the oil pan.
I did have a photo of the engine with the belts on and all but it looked like a 5 year old painted the belts so off that part came and went in the brake fluid for a total redo on the pulleys and belts. Here we are so far minus the drive belt/ accessory pulley system in place:

Very nice indeed! What metallic colors are you using there?
