Aires....wheelbays....??? Madness...Madness I tell you...the pits can generally be worked with...but I've seen a number of builds shelved by going with resin wheel bays. :|[/quote]

Mine went to the big round hangar in the front yard....

After a few days of looking at this kit, getting pissed off at it, and putting it aside, I gritted my teeth tonight and dove back in.

First up...the lack of detail on the backside of the backseat IP. I figure this area will be very obscured by the pilot's seat and the canopy framing, but went ahead and added some points to run wires out of.

Also added the refueling probe door, cut the bases from the Quickboost seats (great detail and a lot simpler than the Eduard seats), and got all of the cockpit sill PE in place. Eduard's color PE continues to disappoint, but this stuff is great, and the fit was right on.

Those Quickboost seats look great. Can't wait to see them painted up.

Ahhhhh - the all-black leather option, only available in the Eddie Bauer package, also includes Bluetooth and ParkAssist...

Vance - the real challenge is going to be masking off that beige lower trim...

Those seats are amazing. I'm ordering some for my Hase kit. The detail on that Academy kit should take to dry brushing and detail painting well it looks like.

My Alley Cat seamless intakes showed up yesterday. I've been hesitant about how well these would fit...thankfully they fit extremely well!
