Thanks guys. I added a little weight in the front. Just to be sure that it won't be a tale sitter.

Looking really cool, figure painting for me is a science, I cannot even imagine to master even a little bit... :-)

Was not aware of that the crew members are not sitting "in a straight row" ! Again something new to learn...

Good to see you on this board! As for figures, like any other part of modelling, it is a skill. And my skills are sufficient for 1/72 or 28mm figures.

As for the pilots not being in a row: this is the A version, with the large greenhouse. The later bubble canopy versions do have the crew members on one straight line.

The cockpit is ready for a wash, instruments have been done with decals. Mostly cut versions of the kit decals and one side console from and Academy A-10.

I’d have to break out one of my old handbooks... but I’m fairly certain that VDV units ( Aiborne and Air Assault ) had their own dedicated assigned helicopter units. So my foggy memory tells me that the striped tee shirts on aviation aircrew is quite plausible.
BTW, very nice work on the pilots!

Current state of affairs. I masked the windows and glued them (in that order). Fuselage is also closed. Masking was done with strips of Tamiya, Kips and Jammydog tape.
Fit is quite good for such an old kit. I think I will need very little filler.

Your work looks great—and inspiring, too—very much so! The cockpit, pilots are just so well done!

I am adding some details on the outside as well. Wire handles on the fuselage, asymmetrical missiles (kit has the symmetrical) and copper wire on the launchers.
