That's beautiful work, Joe. As for that roundel on the port wing you may want to check out the dates because the roundels went through some changes in those later years. That is also depending on the battles and campaigns etc,etc. I have some references some where and I'll be danged if I can find them but Ill try..

Thanks for the kudos Paul. As to the references ......you don't need to find any. My own picture of this aircraft turned up all I need to know. Actually.....there's not supposed to be a roundel on the starboard wing. Wow...all these years and I didn't even think twice about that.
No worries though... I do plan on building another Dauntless. Only this time it'll be an Accurate Miniatures version.

Awww c'mon. It can't be that bad. I've built enough of the older Revell auto models to know what really sucks. I have stories to tell.
