Fantastic transformation of this kit—the figure now looks perfect when sited on the base. The base looks amazing, too. Great texture and tone—send a photo to Airfix! You kicked the dust off their old molds and built something fresh and relevant. That has to be the ultimate compliment paid to a kit manufacturer—and certainly justifies your award! Congratulations, my friend!

Thank you Bruce. Once I get the intended base built, I may send something to Airfix. Just a wish on my part, but I’d love to see them revive their 1/32 line with some new products. All Anglocentric of course. I’d really love to see them do a Crusader gun tractor for the 17 Pounder based off of their Crusader tank.

Chad, it’s an easy kit for the most part. Just get some good reference photos online and refer to those first about some parts placement. Especially on the breech top and gunners seat.
