Yes indeed - they're not bad at all. I quite like Hataka as well - they seem to work really nicely and they're all matt which I prefer.

Hmmm... just picked up this month’s issue of FlyPast magazine at Barnes & Nobles over the weekend. There’s an article on the Meteor in there.

Yeah I noticed that the other week - I'll have to pick up a copy if I see it again.

Well I did a bit more work on this today - WOW what superb fit even by Matchbox standard it's pretty shocking. But no matter I have shares in a filler factory so I'll be able to cash in.

It's an interesting exercise actually - to compare this kit to the Tamiya 262 I'm building. You couldn't get two more differing modelling experiences.



The wings aren't on yet - they're loosely attached, and when I say loose I mean loose. they might as well have been a butt joint. One of the wings is also short shot and missing it's gun barrels.

I'm kind of reminded why I decided to stop building these old kits

Oh it'll get built - it's not THAT bad, but at present it's not inspiring. Once I have it together and filled and sanded and under a coat of primer it'll look ok (ish).
