So basically I could just paint it any shade of OD and get away with it?!
That's a great photo Carlos, thanks for sharing it.
Pretty much... or even sections such as the wings outboard of the engines and the vertical tail in one OD, the rest in another OD, and the fabric control surfaces in a third OD. As you can see in the photo, that’s not outside the realm of possibility.
And you’re quite welcome. I think it illustrates the point quite well of not getting to wrapped up about the “correct” shade of color. Particularly in the case of OD. The only time an item looks like the paint chip is when it comes off the production line, or back from the paint shop after an overhaul/rebuild.

I've also started playing around with colours. The callout is for US interior green, but having been in some DC-3's it just seems a bit too light to me.
Cheers!
Good update, Stewart!
As to the interior green, for what it’s worth- what you’ve got there is what pleases me in terms of interior green, and what I always shoot for. It looks very nice. And I bet that was indeed a fun bit to build. I like this.

Thanks Kenny! The green's moved on a bit from that shot - it's still this colour, I've just under coated it with another darker green. I'll post up some pic's later!

I've not forgotten this build - I ordered some new interior green as my pot is shot - I'm just waiting for it to arrive.
Once it's here I'll crack on with it. It has at least allowed me to sort out my 410.
