Lyle, at least we have not to be afraid to encounter such a weapon on our Autobahn... So, put the pedal to the metal!

A few low quality bench shots. Here we see the Radar housing, or, at least it´s parts:

The tiny arms of the PE part in the middle are not yet bend to shape. The attachment leftovers are visible here. They will go later, when the arms are glued to the dish. At least that´s the plan...

The Radar dish in place, with the tiny, and I mean "tiny", arms bend to shape. I also tried to file the attachment stubs away, but thos suckers are almost impossible to hold while working with the diamond file...

This is the last time the Radar will be seen, as it disappears behind a PE panel. Again I have to ask myself: why on earth did they do this panel as a PE part, not in plastic? There is no gain, IMHO.

is the fit snug enough to make it removable?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

It’s just a more high tech version of the same gun on the old Vulcan tracks that used to ply the autobahn... :giggles:

Don’t yet glue it, perhaps leaving the panel open and place the panel next to it?

Yeah, probably so you can leave it off so you can see the Radar.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

Wow! what an interesting kit - and superb work thus far Thomas, your PE work is spot on! I agree with the others though, I'd have that PE panel removable.

And I fully agree with Carlos - you've got to do the Chuck Norris markings!
