You need to sandbag that grill shelf! That .50 is too exposed up there!!!
And considering all the action he's seen . . . he's changing out a barrel . . . probably a good point.

Carlos gets a second growth of beard, eyebrows, and the beginning of eyes. Helmut gets his first growth of beard, and all the rest. I have now run out of white paint completely and so progress grinds to a halt until I can get more. :(

They look kinda creepy with white eyes. Kinda got the whole zombie combat gnome thing going on. Whats the plan with the beards? Keeping them white?
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Yes, they are creepy. I think Carlos looks especially maniacal.

Not sure about the beards. Traditionally gnomes have white beards, so I was originally going to keep them white and do a wash and drybrush some gray in there . . . but as there is nothing traditonal about these particular gnomes I might do a different color. Decisions, decisions . . .

Look up some warcraft gnomes for inspiration.

Still haven't completely decided on the beards but added eyes and some wash to the faces. I was trying for the wide-eyed psychotic thing on Carlos. I think I've acheived the effect I was trying for. :)

Looking good there my friend! I'm pretty sure that Carlos served with the Condor Legions Gnome Abteilung in Spain in 1937...
