Fermis, what brand and type of paint were you using for the RLM 76 squiggles?

Looks good, I wouldn't even try it in the scale but you pulled it off.

MM enamels...all I ever use.

I'd say you mailed it almost perfectly. Those squiggles were done freehand by Luftwaffe personnel with a spray gun anyway, so you captured the look exceptionally well. Despite the issues, you pulled off the perfect paint job.

I commend you sir and bow in the presence of greatness.

Kind of odd. Those usually control really well.

Hats off to you brah! Squiggle camo is EXTREMELY difficult to pull off because there is just no room to hide. I'm saying that without actually having tried it but I can just guess at the difficulty in maintaining a consistent spray pattern for so long. It turned out well. I can also sympathize with the fiddly PE bits. My guess is that most manufacturers simply produce these sets without actually trying to assemble them.

I totally agree with that assessment of P/E parts; I don't believe many of them ever try building what they make. A certain quad Maxim mounting in 1/72 scale comes to mind....

The parts that get me, are barrel shrouds...how in the F is one supposed to get a perfect cylinder, or even a "pass" with those things....especially in 72nd.
I tried once, in 48th ....F that S!!!
